Australian musician Daniel Champagne performs in Hope

Guitar virtuoso Daniel Champagne performs in Hope on April 2.

Christ Church Hope National Historic Site (681 Fraser Ave.) hosts the talented musician at 7:30 p.m. for $25 a ticket.

The Australian is starting his 56-stop Canadian tour in B.C., and has already performed sold-out shows in Courtenay, Duncan, Shirley, Errington and Nanaimo.

Champagne was raised in New South Wales and first began music at five years old, following in the steps of his musical father. He began writing songs at 12 and became a professional musician at 18. In the past 15 years he has released seven studio albums, played in festivals and toured around the globe.
