It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Arnold (72) of Hope, BC on Dec. 19, 2023.
Rick was predeceased by his father Merlin Arnold, mother Helen Sweitzer, stepfather Elmer Sweitzer, and brother Steve Arnold.
He is survived by his brothers Rod Sweitzer and Gary Sweitzer.
He was born on Mar. 5, 1951 at Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan. He had a career as an educational psychologist, teaching at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University before retiring in Hope, BC.
A celebration of life will be held in Hope on Feb. 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hope United Church.
"For me there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length - and there I travel, looking breathlessly."
