A brisk but sunny Autumn day brought many shoppers out to the Beta Sigma Phi Craft Sale on Saturday at the legion.

All of the proceeds from the group’s craft sale are immediately sent back out into the community as donations to charities, including Holly Days and the transition house.

Because of this, Beta Sigma Phi say they are grateful that people were generous with their donations as they came in. Many people were generous when buying raffle tickets, they add, making the event even more fun for a few lucky winners.

“The crafts are wonderful, but they should really advertise it as a ‘Community Reunion Day!’” one shopper was overheard saying.

Linda Kerr of Beta Sigma Phi reminds everyone to mark their calendars now for next year’s sale, on Nov. 16.
