The patient involved in an alleged stabbing was loaded into a medical helicopter to be transported for treatment.

Emergency scanner traffic indicated that there was a stabbing at Kent Institution, a maximum security prison just outside of Agassiz.
At about 1:45 p.m. on Friday (May 3), there were reports of an individual that had been stabbed 11 times.
A medical helicopter was launched, two ambulances were on scene, and the Agassiz Fire Department was there to deliver medical aid.
